The overall membership is culturally diverse, including people who are African, Afro-Caribbean, Austrian, Dutch, English, French, Indian, Indonesian, Iranian, Irish, Latvian, Scottish and Welsh.

Com.unity is also proud of the Choir’s religious diversity, which includes members who are Catholic, Christian, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim. 80% of members are Hertsmere residents and 23% are male and 77% female.

Weekly attendance has now risen to 40 - 45 members and Com.unity currently has 62 people on the register, spanning a wide age range.

Com.unity is delighted to have built up a band to accompany members at rehearsals and performances and currently has a keyboard player, as well as 2 guitarists, a bass guitarist and 2 saxophone players.  More band members would be welcomed.
